Technical Coordinator: User Experience Software Testing, Software Development Scheduling and Support needed in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.  Some UI/UX Testing experience would be beneficial. The task requires the person to be self-motivated and have initiative.  Training will be provided.
 
Job Description:
Software Development Scheduling
This task will be to:
  • Understand the agile project management tool. (JIRA)
  • Ensure all activities are captured, in a uniform manner, and kept up to date on the agile project management tool.
  • To ensure progress is recorded and maintained.
  • Daily confirmation from Software Team on progress.
  • Keep the tool’s dashboard up to date.
  • Assist in keeping the configuration up to date in software releases
Software Testing
  • To test releases of software to the specification contained in the Project Management Tool.
  • Do retro-testing on software after software release.
  • Create and maintain testing template.
Support
  • Assist the technical department to answer queries from clients, users, Libra Brokers or internal queries concerning:
      1. Technical Issues
      2. UI system queries
      3. Device queries
 
The task requires the person to be self-motivated and have initiative.
 
Although the task will be a challenging task, training and the on-the-job training will equip the person to perform the task.
The training will include:
    1. 2 weeks of formal training on the UI
    2. At least 1 month of working in the Operations Section doing shift work.
    3. On-the-job-training in the Technical Department
